Licensed daycares only
Every listing in our database is a BC Ministry-licensed childcare program. We do not include unlicensed home-based care or unverified listings.
Your privacy is protected
When we reach out to daycares on your behalf, we never share your name or contact details until a daycare confirms interest. You stay anonymous until you choose to connect.
Confirmed availability, not guesses
Our matching concierge only introduces you to daycares that have responded and confirmed they have — or expect to have — a spot for your child. No chasing, no ghosting.
Honest timelines
We tell you exactly how long the process takes: 3–5 business days from submission to introduction. If a round comes up short, we tell you honestly and discuss next steps.
Profile freshness signals
Each listing shows when it was last updated. Outdated information erodes trust — so we surface profile freshness as a signal families can use to decide whether to act now.
Compliant with BC privacy law
We operate under PIPA (Personal Information Protection Act, BC). Your data is never sold, never shared with third parties, and you can request deletion at any time.
How we handle your information
When you use free search: We collect nothing. No account, no email, no tracking beyond standard analytics.
When you submit a matching request: We collect your name, email, neighbourhood, child age, schedule and budget. This is used only to match and contact daycares on your behalf.
When we contact daycares: We tell daycares only your neighbourhood, child's age range, and desired schedule. Your name and email are never shared until you consent to an introduction.
After matching is complete: Your data is retained for 90 days, then deleted. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@daycarefinder.ca.
